This workshop is primarily for students in the Master or Doctorate programs who either have not begun or are at the early stage of developing a research proposal for their thesis or dissertation.

This workshop is aimed to help students in two related areas: (1) the process of focusing on and identifying a research topic and (2) developing a framework of a complete proposal for thesis/dissertation research. The workshop will cover “dos and don’ts” and will provide templates and examples with opportunities for in-session interactions and feedback.
