Student Activities & Leadership
The Student Activities and Leadership (SAL) club is dedicated to providing a friendly atmosphere to a multicultural
and co-educational student body. Their aim is to provide students with unique opportunities to develop life skills and
leadership. While supporting traditional education, SAL provides high-quality programs and activities that complement
the in-class experiences of all students. These events and activities are categorized as follows:
• Sports & Recreation
The Sports and Recreational Activities Unit puts a great emphasis on students’ health and physical fitness and
encourages exercise and sports activities. The unit offers an array of activities and sport programs that include
aqua aerobics, self-defense, meditation, swimming, psychological health, body energy, athletics, squash, football,
volleyball, basketball, tennis, table tennis, boxing, kickboxing, chess and billiards.
• Theatre & Fine Arts
The Theatre & Fine Arts Unit focuses on developing students’ artistic talents and helps them to realize their creative
energy in all fields. Activities include music, theatrical events, art exhibitions, visual arts, photography, poetry, and
story writing.
• Social & Cultural Activities
Students are encouraged to embrace their heritage through cultural and heritage activities. This unit supports
traditional arts, and hosts a variety of folk art events from a range of countries in the region and the Arab world. It
also organizes cultural events and collaborates with various cultural and heritage centers around the country.
