The College of Graduate Studies at the United Arab Emirates University organized an open day for postgraduate students and student research recently. The representatives of the HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award and the Jaleela Foundation were present on Tuesday 21^st April, 2015 in the Great Hall of the Crescent Building at UAEU. Professor Ghaleb Ali Al Hadrami, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies, and Dr. Ali Al Kaabi, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Enrollment as well as professors, researchers and students interested in graduate programs were all present.

Professor Al Hadrami viewed the various colleges’ offerings for graduate students. There were also a number of research presentations and projects undertaken by graduate students at the university, which looked at various fields.

The College of Graduate Studies offers 37 Master’s programs in Science, Engineering, Electronic Security, Management, Social Work, Law, Accounting, Medical Sciences and other disciplines covering the needs of the labor market. As such they supply the UAE with competent graduate students in a variety of disciplines. There are also Doctoral programs in Philosophy, Business Administration and Pharmacy.
