The United Arab Emirates University showcased its new disciplines at the 4^th UAE Careers Exhibition, which started on Tuesday, 28/4/2015, and will run for three days, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The new disciplines are Bachelor’s degrees offered by the College of Education and Master’s degrees offered by the College of Agriculture. The Exhibition aims to empower UAE nationals by helping them to meet representatives, recruiters and human resource managers from major companies.

UAEU’s participation in this exhibition is an opportunity for high school, colleges and university students to explore the learning, training, and employment opportunities available to them; and to become aware of the Master's and Doctoral programs offered by the university in a variety of disciplines. This is facilitated by a number of small events and seminars that allow for the exchange of information. This is part of the university’s focus on student success, motivation and the desire to inculcate both lifelong learning and knowledge exchange between the university and stakeholders in the local community.

UAEU has participated in the UAE Careers Exhibition ever since the first event. UAEU helps to provide answers to students’ questions about new disciplines and offers a detailed presentation regarding jobs opportunities for UAE citizens at the university. This is done to encourage nationals to take up leadership roles at the university and in education in general.
