As part of the Sayfuna Mumayaz Program-Injaz 2015, the Continuing Education Center at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Education Council, organized a Sports Day for participating students on Thursday 6^th August 2015 in the Al Qattara gym at the Al Ain Sports Club.

Ms. Aisha Al Nuaimi, Head of the Foreign Languages ​​Unit in the Continuing Education Center at UAEU, said that nearly 300 students participated in this sports event which also included intensive courses in English language and IELTS preparation for students from the eighth to eleventh grade in various Al Ain schools. The program was not limited to strengthening language skills but included a range of cultural and social activities that enhance team spirit and created a sense of cooperation.

Ms. Ashqaq Al Khalidi, Senior Media Specialist and Program Director at the Abu Dhabi Education Council, said that this event is part of a larger academic program that runs from July 26^th to August 13^th, and includes numerous academic, educational, and recreational activities. The Sayfuna Mumayaz Program-Injaz 2015 provides useful, fun summer activities for school students which also raise their skill levels in many areas by helping students to use the summer vacation in a productive manner.

Mr. Mohammed Al Khader of the Al Ain Sports Club said that the club took the initiative to host these activities as community service in order to encourage students to take part in sports. They do this through opening the gyms and courts to students and providing coaches, supervisors and administrators to oversee the competitions that were all part of the Sayfuna Mumayaz Program-Injaz 2015 Sports Day.
