The University Social Club (Al Multaqa) organizes "Ramadan and our spiritual food" seminar

The University Social Club (Al Multaqa) organized in cooperation with the Sheikha Amna Heritage Cultural Religious Center a religious seminar on the occasion of the advent of the holy month, the seminar was divided into the spiritual fitness in Ramadan presented by the preacher Moza Al Shamsi, General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, your Ramadan diet: culture and behavior presented by Dr. Nada Zuheir, Director of the Department of Nutrition, Tawam hospital, on Tuesday morning 16/6/2015 at the Al Multaqa with a general female attendance.
The lecture focused on change either in dietary habits during Ramadan or change of bad habits in our lives, adding new additions to our lives for the better, Dr. Nada Zuheir clarified the benefits of fasting which increases the immunity of the body and eliminates toxins, solves a large part of the problems of high blood pressure and diabetic, burns fat and works on maintenance of the organs of the body. Dr. Nada added that Ramadan is the perfect opportunity to teach our children proper food behaviors.
The preacher Moza Al Shamsi talked about how Ramadan is an opportunity for change for the better through exercises she applied with the audience. Definition of the meaning of change, that depends on the human capacity to manage itself and possess the strength and determination to achieve it, and human’s vision of his defects and weaknesses. She added: “Ramadan is the month of the Quran and the month of forgiveness, in which all stimuli to change ourselves and to program our lives to work with positive habits that contribute to change our lives and leave our print in it.
