To enhance skills:

The Student Activities Department at the United Arab Emirates University organized a communication skills seminar on Tuesday 24^th of November 2015, in the College of Information Technology Building on campus. It was held in cooperation with the Red Crescent Society as part of the ‘Yes to Volunteering’ initiative and was designed to develop students’ communicative skills by interacting with accredited trainers.

Haniya Osman Mahjoub from the Red Crescent Society gave a range of advice and guidance to help students express themselves better and to communicate positively with others. The trainer also pointed out the importance of effective communication, the effective and successful properties of any message, and discussed the ways you can communicate in order to swiftly influence others.

The university is keen to provide rich and varied seminars outside of the traditional curriculum in order to develop skills and prepare graduates for entry into the labor market.
