The Department of Research and Graduate Studies at the United Arab Emirates University organized a workshop on Wednesday 25^th of November, 2015 in the Crescent Building, for representatives of the Marriage Fund and female students aimed at strengthening the Marriage Fund.

Groups were formed to brainstorm ideas regarding the marriage grant, the ‘EDAAD’ program and group weddings. Mrs. Wahida Khalil the branch manager for the Marriage Fund Dubai said that they, “want to brainstorm that can be implemented by the Marriage Fund, especially for the ‘EDAAD’ program.

Ms. Souheila Al-Ali, director of the Grants Department said that their “goal is to disseminate information about the ‘EDAAD’ to prepare young people to build safe and stable families. This is one of the most important programs that the Marriage Fund seeks to promote in the UAE to support cohesive family units.”
