To prepare graduates:

 

The Center for Career Placement and Alumni at the United Arab Emirates University organized separate workshops, in cooperation with the College of Science, on October 12-13 2015, for 60 male and female students who are soon to graduate from the college. These workshops were held in the College of Science.

The first workshop was on how to write a resume. This is one of the most important skills graduates need to get a job. Dr. Sufian Abu Rmaileh talked about the basics of writing a resume, the best way to write it and how to do so accurately to reflect your experience. He talked about how to avoid common mistakes and how to make your resume persuasive and effective in finding suitable employment.

The second workshop, under the title ‘Preparation to a Job Interview’, was aimed at raising awareness among graduates on how to be well prepared for job interviews. It showed them how to enter interviews appropriately as well as other points regarding their interview conduct.

The Center for Career Placement and Alumni at UAEU offers workshops and lectures targeted at different groups of students. This is in support of the university’s desire to achieve academic excellence in accordance with the needs of the labor market.
