The United Arab Emirates University organizes a ‘Best Days of Life’ lecture about the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah

The University Social Club (Al Multaqa) organized a lecture entitled "Best Days of Life" recently. It was delivered by Mozah Al Shamsi of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments. The topic was the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. The lecture was attended by students and staff on Monday, 14th September in the Business Hall of the Crescent Building on the Maqam Campus.
She explained the virtues of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, and the deeds that should be performed by Muslims during these days. She also explained to the attendees the rites and rituals of Dhul-Hijjah, the Udhiyah (animal sacrifice), and the Sunnahs of Eid Al Adha. She played a video emphasizing the importance of making use of every day as the pillars of worship are present on these days if you work honestly and with determination.
Mrs. Fatima Ali Al Nuaimi, Director of the Multaqa said that “this type of lecture is an important interface between religion, the promotion of knowledge and the shared spirituality of these days”.
