The Physics Department at the College of Science of UAE University organized an exhibition on physics concepts on Monday, May 9^th, 2016.  University students from various scientific disciplines participated by presenting innovative projects within the following areas: energy and its generation, roads and engineering, physical properties of different materials and cooling and recycling.  The purpose of the exhibition was to highlight the effect role played by this scientific area.

Dr. Ahmad Murad Dean of the College of Science said: "The purpose of this exhibition is to encourage students to think and be creative, and encourage them to research and study.  The UAE University allocates great importance to the topic of scientific research and exploration, with the goal to make our students’ researchers and innovators in their primary studying stage.”

Student submitted more than 80 projects all related to physics, as part of the physics course principles which mix the concepts of study, research and experience.

On Thursday 12^th of May, 2016, The College of Science honored faculty members, heads of departments and employees of the College, who provided excellent services during the academic year 2015-2016. Dr. Ahmad Murad said: “This tribute is to honor holders of creative ideas and distinguished faculty members in the College, and students who obtained prizes from participating in local and international competitions.  We want to stimulate continuous creativity of academic and research excellence.” A total of approximately fifty honorees from faculty members and students of the College were honored.
