Through iWIL - the UAEU Internship Center - BNP Paribas invites all students from the College of Business & Economics to discover and be part of the Ace Manager Challenge.  The competition, open only to undergraduate or graduate students under the age of 26 on the day of their registration at the Competition, matriculated at a college or university, is based on an interactive economic simulation related with the business lines of the bank combined with the economics of tennis.

Entirely designed in English, the games participants virtually enter the world of tennis, where they become the star financial advisor:

  • Helping a new tennis company get financed in its start-up phase
  • Develop the same company to grow its business
  • Manage the assets and worldwide account of an international business

The competition will be held in three stages:

  • Stage 1: Registration (open until February 15, 2010)
  • Stage 2: Competition (February 17, 2010 to March 17, 2010)
  • Stage 3: Final in Paris (April 15, 2010)

After being registered, participants will work in teams in a competitive economic environment and must solve various case studies in which the pertinence of their decisions will allow them to accumulate points ("Aces").  The aim of the competition is to obtain a maximum of Aces to enable their Team to qualify for the international final in Paris, where the best five teams will compete for 9,000 euros and other great prizes.
