Opportunities at the Government of Sharjah

During a recent visit at the iWIL - Internship Center, Mr. Salim Saeed Juma Khawan, Manager of Finance & Administration at the Control Department of Administration - Government of Sharjah, presented a new strategy for training and employment.  Working closely with UAE University, the department offers internship opportunities tailored to the university's needs and work placement projects.  These opportunities are offered for students from the College of Business & Economics, College of Humanities & Social Sciences, College of Information Technology and College of Law.  

Furthermore, UAEU graduates are being encouraged to apply for jobs at various government agencies. To firm up the already outstanding relationships, the Control Department of Administration is planning to give presentations to UAEU students before this semester is over.  Topics will be their training program, work placement projects and the job application process.
