Placement
The students will be assigned to the announced job placements (defined by the internship partner). The job matching criteria will be ensured by the college administrators according to the following guidelines:
-
The job description is the primary criterion in selection of students. Internship students must seek appropriate job placements consistent with their major and career objectives.
-
The training location should be as close as possible to the student's residence.
-
Preference is given to the higher student GPA if more than one student requested same job placement.
-
The internship partners may select specific students for their job placements.
Student placement encompasses two sub-functions:
-
Internship Bank, which is a central database to house all job entries offered by partners and will be screened by iWIL. The Internship Bank encompasses two major responsibilities: Deposit internship and Assign internship.
-
Interview Management
