Dean's Message

Welcome to the new web site for the MBA programs in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. We hope you will find it helpful and informative. Our new program in Al Ain has expanded our outreach and services to the Al Ain area. The City of Al Ain has grown considerably in the past few years and we intend to serve the growing number of professional people who choose to live here. In the meantime, our Abu Dhabi location continues to thrive with each year finding more applicants and admitted students into the program.

We can now say that we are accredited at both levels--graduate and undergraduate by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The visit team arrived in February, 2009 and made very positive remarks about the MBA program. While we are naturally pleased to be the first business school in the UAE. to receive full accreditation at the graduate level, we know that we must constantly strive to improve our curriculum and delivery system. To enhance our offerings we began offering content "tracks" as part of our elective course system. The tracks can now be found for Human Resource Management and Development, E-Business, Organization Excellence, and Finance. We plan to test more specializations in the near future. We also continue to support our program with our faculty and those of our partner Georgia State University.

We are also anxious to stay in touch with our many graduates of the program. We are extremely proud of our graduates and consider them to be the best in the nation. We always have time to listen to their input and to gain their assistance in strengthening our program through guest classroom appearances, hosting MBA events, and by serving as members of our graduate alumni association.

Our professional staff stands ready to answer any questions you may have about the program or to assist you as you apply. We sincerely adhere to our core value of fostering team spirit through accepting and helping each other. We look forward to meeting you in person.
