Welcome to Graduate Studies at the United Arab Emirates University.
This Handbook is intended to be your guide on all matters related to graduate studies at UAEU. We
hope the information in this Handbook will make it a bit easier for you to integrate in the university
environment and will help you successfully pursue your studies in your respective degree program.
The information in this Handbook is assembled frommultiple sources, which include notably the
University’s Policies and Procedures, especially those pertaining to Graduate Studies. We encourage
you to spend some time early on to become familiar with the topics covered in this document and
invite you to seek clarification or assistance from your program’s coordinator, the Office of the
Assistant for Research and Graduate Studies in your home college, or the College of Graduate Studies
when needed.
We hope you will find this Handbook of value to your educational experience at the University. We
invite you to share with us any feedback, comments or questions you might have concerning this
Handbook or any aspect of Graduate Studies. Also, we invite you to visit our office and meet the staff
