Online Financial Aid Application
Online Student Health Insurance Enrolment
The Online Financial Aid system is developed in-house to automate the financial aid application process and shorten the
time it takes to process student applications. The new system will allow students to apply financial assistance online,
upload all supporting documents online, and track the progress of their application. The student Affairs department
will be able to review applications online and make determination based on rules and eligibility criteria built into the
system. The system will automatically generate financial documents such as Encumbrance and Invoices and eligible
students will receive their monthly payment deposited directly to their account.
The new system simplifies the student Financial Aid application process and it will reduce the processing time. It is
expected that The Online Financial Aid system will simplify the Financial Aid process and deliver a considerable cost
savings by increasing efficiency and Student Affair’s staff productivities, reduce administrative costs and processing
time, and increase student and staff satisfaction.
This system is developed in-house to automate student health insurance enrolment process. The new service will allow
students to apply Health Insurance Benefits online, upload required documents electronically and track the progress of
their application online. This includes, New Health Card Request, Renewal, Correction of Information, and Replacement
of lost or damaged Card. The Student Services department will be able to review student applications online and make
determination based on rules and eligibility criteria built into the system. After the Student Services department
approval, the system automatically sends notification to the student.
The new system simplifies the student Health Insurance enrolment process and it will reduce the processing time.
It is expected to deliver a considerable cost savings by increasing efficiency of Student Services department staff
productivities, reduce administrative costs and processing time, and increase student and staff satisfaction.
Part-time Students Payment Phase II
Further enhance the current in-house developed Part Time
Student Payment System to allow Deans to approve multiple
time sheet at once. Earlier Deans used to approve the
payments one by one and hence had to spend a lot of time to
complete the approval process now it is a one click process.
