Student Specialization Request/change
This system is developed in-house to automate student specialization selection process. The new system will allow
students to apply College Major/Minor online and via smartphones and track the progress of their application. The
College and Admission and Registration (ARD) staff will be able to review applications online and make determination
based on rules and eligibility criteria built into the system. After the college approval and ARD verification, the system
will automatically update the student record in Banner accordingly.
The new system simplifies the student Specialization application process and it will reduce the processing time. It is
expected to deliver a considerable cost savings by increasing efficiency of Colleges and ARD staff productivities, reduce
administrative costs and processing time, and increase student and staff satisfaction.
Online Student Document Request
This system is developed in-house to automate student frequently requested documents. The e-Documents system will
allow students to request student English Transcript, Arabic Transcript, To-Whom-It-May-Concern letters, etc. online and
via smartphones and track the status including history conveniently and efficiently. The Admission and Registration
(ARD) staff will be able to review and process all requests online.
The new application simplifies the student document request process and it will reduce the processing time. It is
expected to deliver cost savings by increasing efficiency of ARD staff productivities, reduce administrative costs and
processing time, and increase student and staff satisfaction.
Post Graduate Advisor Comments
This is another in house system built for advisors to insert advising comments for students. This feature was initially
available only in Internet Native Banner where advisors do not have access. Therefore a new service has been added to
eServices to fill that gap. This system addresses the need to record the advisor's comments on student's record. These
comments will be used to have additional information about the student's performance.
