The rooms have other equally important uses besides Telepresence. They are meeting spaces ready
for academic or research-oriented discussions and presentations. They not only provide the
capability to present, share and compare multiple presentations at the same time but can be used
for regular videoconference meetings as well.
Each room is operated and controlled by an iPad with a facepoint application installed. The user
interface is easy, which helps users to select the functionality of their choice: presentation mode
for discussions and sharing presentations or Telepresence mode for video communication and
content sharing.
