The University offers a variety of services to international students, which include health insurance, university housing,
medical checkup, and residence visa.
Student Counseling
The Student Counseling Center (SCC) provides individual and group counseling to students at the United Arab Emirates
University. Our counselors help students explore any academic or personal problems or concerns that they may be
experiencing. Some common issues that arise include adjusting to university life, time management issues, confusion
about life or career goals, anxiety, depression or dealing with grief and loss. Our Counseling Services utilize a service
system that emphasizes trust, respect, confidentiality, and compassion. The SCC team is committed to the wellbeing
and betterment of our students throughout their educational years at UAEU.
