PhD Tuition Payer (All Nationalities)

The purpose of the “PhD Tuition Payer” option is to recruit high achieving graduate students who are employed and wish to pursue their graduate studies at UAEU on part-time basis.

Student Eligibility:

• Have a GPA ≥ 3.0/4.0 in Master degree.
• Pay the tuition fees of the PhD program.
• Prefer to have dissertation in one of the UAE priority sectors (Renewable Energy, Transportation, Health, Water, Technology, Space).
• Meet the PhD admission requirements and apply online here.

Benefits:

• Health insurance (if needed).
• Possible Opportunities (not guaranteed): Graduate Research Assistant (GRA), Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) or Graduate Administrative Assistant (GAA) upon availability by the student’s supervisor, student’s home College or College of Graduate Studies, respectively. Stipend amount depends on the availability of budget.

Duration:

• 4 - 6 years

Duties and Expectations:

• Maintain GPA ≥ 3.0 at the PhD level. 

• Be enrolled full-time (min. of 9 credits/semester) or part-time (min. of 6 credits/semester).

• Applicant can be an employee and work outside UAE University.
