• The Center for Career Planning & Placement (CCPP)
UAEU provides many opportunities for career preparation and employment through the Center for Career Planning
& Placement. The Student Career Counselors at the Center assist students in making informed career choices
to achieve career and life goals and to make decisions about which major to select by providing individual and
group career counseling sessions. In addition, the Center organizes different career readiness workshops for students
including CV writing, interview skills and job search techniques to prepare them for the world of work. Furthermore,
the CCPP connects Colleges, organizations and students to create a powerful work-based internship for the learner
and to provide job opportunities for UAEU graduates.
• Financial Aid
The Financial Aid Department assists UAEU students who are experiencing financial difficulties with visa application
costs, health insurance costs, transportation fees, and many other financial needs.
• International Student Services
The International Students Office (ISO) welcomes all international students, and values the culture they bring to
United Arab Emirates University. The ISO team coordinates the administrative needs of international students and
supports their academic and personal development and success.
• Student Council
The Student Council serves as liaison between the students and the University management. They represent the
voice of the students and provide leadership in assisting and organizing activities for students that promote the
development of the students’ academic experience.
