Educational Outcomes Assessment (EOA) is a systematic process that defines the knowledge, skills, and competencies students should acquire by the completion of the major program.

EOA collects, examines, and interprets qualitative and quantitative data about student learning. It uses the collected information to improve student learning, effectiveness of academic programs, and performance of faculty and staff.

The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) started the implementation of the Educational Outcomes Assessment process as a strategy for improvement and quality assurance.

 All the University programs /departments have been involved in the actual implementation of the process
