Responsibilities of the Programs & Curriculum Committee

1- Reviewing proposals received from the various colleges pertaining to curriculum amendments or offering/elimination of degrees and taking the appropriate decisions thereto.

2- Developing the appropriate planning mechanism that would ensure regular and periodic review of the existing curricula/programs to ensure they achieve the educational goals in accordance with the University strategic plan. The review process should also consider quality standards of these programs and make sure that they meet the academic accreditation requirements to attain excellence in all academic programs offered by the University.

3- Developing the appropriate academic and administrative framework to which the programs/curricula review process may refer and determining the follow up and implementation processes thereto.
