The Web Publishing Unit supports the News function on the UAE University Homepage.
About the UAEU Homepage
The Homepage is the primary access point to UAEU online resources and unit sites. The page www.uaeu.ac.ae has received over 3 million hits in 2009 alone (closer to 6 million for all central www.uaeu sites). The central UAEU site is regularly one of the most popular websites in the UAE (currently standing 41st place according to Alexa.com, as of November 2009) and is the most visited site in the UAE among educational institutions.
UAEU Colleges and Divisions are encouraged to submit News items promoting University "success" stories, especially involving students, staff members, researchers and institutional achievements. News can be in short article format or via links to college and unit sites.
How do I request a News Story to Go Online?
If you want to publish a story on the UAEU Homepage, follow these 2 steps:
Step 1: Read the Guidelines
If you wish to submit an article to go on the UAEU Homepage as a News item, first, read the Guidelines carefully. News submissions that do not follow the News Guidelines will not be published.

Step 2: Prepare your article & send to the News Team
Once you have read the Guidelines and prepared your article text, headline, images, links as needed), please send the files directly to news@uaeu.ac.ae by email. For more information about acceptable News Topics, Article Focus, Image sizes, Language, Number of words etc, please read the Guidelines.

Approvals & Early Submissions
Please note that News items require Executive Approval. To avoid delays, submit your request with all relevant documents & images etc as early as possible, preferably 1 week before you wish the article to be published..
