AV / Classroom Technology Team
Multimedia team
This team is responsible for providing overall operation
and management of whole campus AV & classroom
technology, relevant support services and proactive
maintenance for the same. Team core focus is to
provide our faculty members and students with the
most effective and reliable classroom presentation
and computing environment, This includes interactive
SMART boards, digital signage, IP TV, LED & LCD screen,
etc.
A dedicated team is responsible to provide backend
support to technical team as well as the university
community in term of multimedia content recording,
creation, modification, publishing, providing relevant
trainings as well as coaching service and their
management. Team is specialized in windows & MAC
graphic and video environments and support both
types of content.
Business Application development
&management Team
The Business Applications Services team provides
solutions and support to improve administrative
processes. We envision ourselves as a customer service
group whose success is totally based on the success
of UAEU’s administrative capabilities. Toward this
end, our services range from consultation with UAEU
departments on software development or purchase to
implementation of complete solutions.
Enterprise Network operation &
Management team
Manages and develops the enterprise network
by monitoring its performance, security, error
detection, etc. Directly involved in creating/updating/
implementing the UAEU network system’s architecture
and environment.
Academic Application development
&management team:
The Academic application team is responsible for enhancing,
supporting and maintaining any Student & faculty related
application. The team supports both enterprise applications
such as Banner and Blackboard as well as in-house developed
applications. Main components include Admission,
registration, Course Catalog, Schedule, Curriculum, Academic
data and personal data.
Centralized Call center Team
Call Center Team performs routine, and some non routine,
continuous and repetitive work involved primarily
with the operation of a telephone switchboard and the
operation and maintenance of a computerized database
of telephone information. The team is using a switchboard
to route, receive and place calls to all UAEU campus
locations, Disseminate information to callers as necessary.
