UAEU Mobile Application Enhancement
The mobile wireless technologies have been around in UAEU campuses for more than a decade and increasingly
become everyday computing environment as mobile devices getting powerful and wireless connectivity improved
dramatically. In response to this, UITS has devoted a lot of energy of the impact of mobile technologies on student
teaching and learning and how it can be integrated effectively into teaching and learning. We have released our first
mobile application few years ago and last year we have enhanced and released our first true native mobile application
for university community.
UITS is committed to providing mobile solutions that allow members of the University community to stay connected
to University systems and services while on-campus and off-campus. The enhanced mobile App allows users to stay
connected with the UAEU wherever they are and gives them easy access to UAEU resources on-the-go.
Interaction and communication with students is increasingly shared through mobile communications, mobile
applications & smartphones. The UAEU Mobile Solution allows the members of the university community to stay
connected to University systems and services wherever they are and gives them easy access to UAEU resources while
being on-the-move using their tablets and smartphones and is available on all major platforms (iOS, Android, Blackberry,
&Windows). This initiative plays a strategic role and is in line with the University goals and the UAE mGovernment
vision.
Graduate and Undergraduate Transcript Enhancement
These enhancements comprising reorganizing and rearranging of the data to be displayed on the transcript and have
added additional information based on certain conditions and Improved transcript parameters. A new form has also
been built to control certain information on the transcript.
