Message from CIO
I am very excited to share the 2017 DoIT annual report, which provides details of our 2017 accomplishments to move forward
and achieve our goals. In 2017, DoIT concentrated on enhancing the existing solutions and services to improve UAEU business
processes. We focused on improving areas identified by the UAEU community and worked together as a team to develop a cul-
ture using our services to make it easier for UAEU
community.
We continued to strengthen IT governance and compliance standards to align IT initiatives with the university’s strategic plans
to achieve our strategic objectives. We have enhanced our services to make it easier for our community to access and experi-
ence a user friendly environment to achieve teaching and learning objectives. We will continue to focus on number of engage-
ments and collaborative initiatives with our
departments, colleges, students, faculty, and staff members to develop a UAEU digital experience.
I am proud of the accomplishment, services, support and a strong reputation of the DoIT team. With the efforts of DoIT team,
every UAEU
community member is privileged to utilize the best state of the art educational IT infrastructure and service within this region.
