As part of UAEU’s vision to exchange experiences and expertise with educational institutions in the State, and to achieve scientific and administrative integration with all partners in the local, regional and international community, Dr. Ali Saeed Al Kaabi, Deputy VC for Student  Affairs & Enrollment, met with an administrative delegation from Khalifa University at the university campus in Al Ain. Al Kaabi welcomed the delegation, which included Dr. Khalid Mubarak, Acting Vice President, UG Studies and Student Services, Dr. Ali Mohamed Daoud, Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Hassan Obaid Al Muhairi, Executive Director of Graduate Studies.

The delegation was informed about the vision of the university, the role of the Student Affairs & Enrollment Sector, and its functions and divisions, the services provided by the Admission Department, Students Residential Life Sector, and the tasks and experiences of the Center for Career Placement & Alumni and the support it provides for graduates of UAEU.

For its part, the delegation of Khalifa University delivered a presentation on Khalifa University’s student activities, stressing their desire for continuous communication with UAEU and the Student Affairs Sector for the exchange of technical and administrative expertise and skills. Dr. Khalid Al-Mubarak was impressed with the activities provided by the Sector, and he invited them to visit Khalifa University to promote shared experiences and develop a relationship between the two universities.

For his part, Dr. Al-Kaabi said that the Sector is working on providing outstanding opportunities that enhance the students' extracurricular activities and social participation for the students of the university, saying: "We aim to build a student community where care and safety are available, contributing to the development of students capacity and talents through enriching their experience with activities and events in secure facilities designed according to the latest global systems for utility services, which provide quality, efficiency and sustainability needed by the students through leadership and excellence in the provision of our activities and our services.” He further stressed that teamwork in the Student Affairs and Enrollment Sector is the engine that provides the best, according to the strategic vision of UAEU towards leadership and excellence. At the end of the meeting, Al-Kaabi honored the administrative delegation from Khalifa University, presenting them with gifts and commemorative shields.
