The United Arab Emirates University organizes a forum to identify job and training opportunities in the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation

To realize strategic partnerships:
The Enrollment Deanship, in cooperation with the Center for Career Placement and Alumni at the United Arab Emirates University, organized a forum on the role of the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation, on Sunday, November 22nd, 2015, in the College of Information Technology. This is part of a partnerships aimed at providing job and training opportunities for UAEU students. Representatives of the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation and UAEU students were present.
Professor Rashid Ibrahim from the Government Communications Department defined the role of the authority as being an independent government authority responsible for the development of regulations and issuing licenses for all nuclear activities in the UAE. They are responsible for nuclear power programs, radioactive materials and the radiation used in medicine, research, oil exploration and other industrial areas.
During the forum there was a discussion about the nature of the authority's work and the career and training opportunities available. The representatives described the scholarships on offer to train Emirati employees working there in order to provide them with the knowledge, skills and experience necessary.
