Computer Literacy

Policy

It is the policy that all nutritional science students be competent in the use of current

computer technologies. Some skills will be introduced in the classroom; however, students

are responsible for obtaining training in specific programs, if needed.

Some courses are iPad based or online.

Procedure

Course materials are uploaded on Blackboard. It is expected students will check

Blackboard on a regular basis.

Students will be required to use an iPad, interactive sheets, applications, Word sheets,

spreadsheets, PPT presentations, nutritional analysis software, internet and any smart tool

the instructor will introduce as educational tool into the course.
