UAEU Delegation visits Al Ain City Municipality

A delegation from the “UAE University” paid a visit to “Al Ain City Municipality” as part of the strategic partnership between them, in order to get acquainted with customer services and communication with internal and external partners, and the municipality’s systems for handling complaints and recommendations.                

The university’s delegation, headed by “Khadija Al Naqbi”, Senior Manager of Student Housing Unit, included employees from the “Students Affairs and Enrollment Department”, and was received by “Nasser Al Harmoudi”, acting director of the “City Center”, and “Omar Thamer Al Shamsi”, acting head of “Municipal Services”, in addition to administrative heads, department managers and municipality employees                     

Engineer “Nasir Al Muammari”, head of the “Communication Chanel” at the municipality, presented the overall communication services provided for customers, and the latest communication channels adopted to provide world-class customer services, through the municipality’s motto: “Easier Communication and Better Services” . “Humaid Al Shamsi”, Head of the “Customer Service Department”, presented the mechanism of dealing with requests and complaints, and emphasized that the municipality is keen on providing the best service in a timely manner, as the duration of service is only (4) minutes from the customer receiving the reservation number until the completion of service. To conclude the visit, “AL Harmoudi” took the delegation on a tour to visit the departments which directly deal with customers such as the customer service, the operator, and the electronic services departments, to discuss their latest developments and updates.        

“Al Naqbi” described the visit as a positive and an important one, as it took place through the joint institutional cooperation among government authorities, and the delegation received information on the mechanism of services provided electronically and rapidly, in line with the transition to a smart government, and the use of the municipality’s experience in developing the work of “Students Affairs and Enrollment” which directly deals with students. “Al Naqbi” expressed her admiration at the level “Al Ain City” has reached in terms of urbanization, construction and environment, which is attributed to the exerted efforts by this leading government authority.
