The International Research Collaboration Transformation (IRC-T) projects are strategic initiatives primarily funded by UAEU in partnership with leading international universities. These projects are designed to strengthen global research collaboration, enhance knowledge exchange, and drive high-impact scientific outcomes. The program also facilitates mobility and collaboration through:

• Travel support for UAEU Principal Investigators (PIs) to visit partner universities
• Support for international collaborators to visit UAEU
• Joint research activities, publications, and capacity building

• University of Belgrade, Serbia
• University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, USA

United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) supports joint research projects with member institutions of the Asian Universities Alliance (AUA), with a focus on areas of strategic importance to the UAE.

This program promotes collaborative research across the AUA network, fostering knowledge exchange and innovation. A portion of the funding may also be allocated to support research activities in fundamental science disciplines that contribute to the advancement of knowledge.
