UAEU obtains accreditation from CSC for the Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry

The College of Science at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) obtained accreditation for its Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC). This accreditation comes as a recognition of the quality of the program offered by the College and to ensure that the program meets the highest international standards required.
Stressing the significance of this achievement, H.E. Professor Mohammed Albaili, UAEU Vice Chancellor, stated that it adds to UAEU’ s achievements in maintaining its quality and excellence level in line with the international standards. The accreditation, he continued, is one of the university’s strategic goals and a great testament of the high quality of scientific research, teaching methodologies, infrastructure and the educational outputs. It is also the result of the collaborative effort of the UAEU community. The university is continuously working to develop its educational methodologies and academic programs’ plans to meet the job market needs.
Professor Ahmed Murad, Dean of the College of Science, explained that the UAEU has succeeded to accomplish one of its strategic goals through offering comprehensive education, obtaining academic accreditations for its programs and achieving high-quality educational outputs that meet international standards.
As part of this accreditation, all graduate students of this program will receive accredited certificates from the CSC as well as a free CSC membership.
