International Women’s Day is a chance to celebrate the achievements of Emirati women
Mon, 6 June 2022
UAEU Vice Chancellor Professor Mohamed Albaili honored Emirati women on International Women’s Day, and acknowledged the achievements they have accomplished and the outstanding progress they have made oneducational, professional, leadership, and governmental fronts.
He said that the advanced achievements of Emirati women have equipped them to compete in all fields on an international level and that this would not have been possible without the efforts of the Wise Leadership, which calls for the empowerment of women politically, socially and educationally, to be able to play a major role in society, participate in the nation’s ambitious aspirations, accede to powerful governmental positions, and contribute to executing the UAE National Agenda and Vision.
Professor Albaili added that the successful progress of Emirati women is supported by the Mother of the UAE, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, who advocates the welfare, wellbeing and leadership positions of Emirati women.
