The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) organized an orientation program for its 3715 male and female freshman students and their parents at the university’s hostel units.

The orientation program included workshops on registration, activities for hostel students, a tour of the university campus and other activities to introduce students and parents to the University College, Professional Preparation Unit, and Campus Life Section.

The Admission Deanship sent text messages to student candidates of Fall 2018/2019 as per their respective colleges and majors. All necessary measures were taken by the University regarding the admission and registration of the new batch through its preparation for the new student orientation and placement exams for the Arabic and English languages and mathematics.

The numbers of students admitted to UAEU colleges are as follows: College of Medicine and Health Sciences 91, College of Engineering 462, College of Information Technology 690, College of Education 135, College of Food and Agriculture 204, College of Humanities and Social Sciences 814, College of Science 387, College of Business and Economics 505, and College of Law 427.
