Three UAEU National Students have passed the International Medical Test "National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME)” with Excellence

A group of three students from the college of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAEU have achieved outstanding results in the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) test, which was held within the final exams for the fourth year at the end of last month. The students are Sheikh Hamed Hussein, Maitha Ali Saeed Al Neyadi, Sara Ali Al Marzouki, rated "Excellent" in this test, which measures the educational achievement of medical students in each stage. The grades are compared among the internationally recognized students in a standardized manner and their classification accordingly.
Dr. Taleb Al Mansoor, Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs and Acting Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, said during the press conference that the amazing performance of the students was not surprising, but rather an obvious harvest of their efforts and perseverance for excellence in the last four years. stressing that the UAEU is always searching for improving the students’ academic levels of its students to compete globally in the selection of their specializations and completion of their higher studies, Dr. Al Mansoor added: "We are proud of the graduation of more than 1,000 male & female doctors since the inception of the National Board of Medical Examiners, who are dispersed and working in all health sectors in the country some with senior positions in both public and private institutions.
For her part, student, Maitha Ali Saeed Al Neyadi has expressed her happiness to pass the international test, stressing that the real challenge lies in the ability of students to answer the scientific and applied questions of all the scientific medical curriculum over the four years of study. In the years of knowledge and practical education to enhance the medical skills of students, enabling us to pass this test and compete with students internationally to various medical schools around the world and provide outstanding performance and comprehensive knowledge to overcome all challenges of the US National Board of Medical Examiners. "
