Workshop Description
This practical workshop will support postgraduate students in managing the unique pressures of advanced study and research. Participants will learn the difference between optimal stress, which can enhance focus and performance, and distress, which undermines well-being. Using the Perceived Stress Scale, they will assess their own stress levels and reflect on how academic demands, deadlines, and competing responsibilities impact them. Together, we will explore healthy and unhealthy coping strategies commonly used in postgraduate life, and students will be guided to develop tailored intervention plans that strengthen resilience, improve balance, and promote sustained success throughout their studies.
