BIOGRAPHY
Dr. ElRazaz joined the Department of Accounting & Finance in August 2019 as an Assistant Professor and he is the Masters in Professional Accounting (MPA) Program director. He has over 10 years’ experience in academia (UK, USA, UAE, Egypt) leading and teaching at various universities (Most recent: De Montfort University January 2019-August 2019, University of Leicester January 2018-January 2019),Loughborough University, UCL, amongst others). Dr. ElRazaz holds a PhD degree in Accounting from the School of Business and Economics, Loughborough University (UK), a MSc in Accounting from the University of Louisville (USA) and a BSc. in Accounting (BSc) with first distinction. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
His main research interests lie in the areas of corporate governance, corporate finance, financial accounting and earnings management. Dr. ElRazaz has published in leading journals such as International Journal of Accounting and Information Management, Corporate Ownership & Control, International Journal of Economics and Management Engineering, and others. He is also an ad-hoc reviewer for several international journals and conferences in accounting and finance.
