BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Dyana Merline has earned her PhD Degree in Chemistry from the University of Kerala, India in the year 2009. Her area of specialization in PhD is in smart polymers with a special focus on "Invesigations on thermo-responsive shape memory polymers". She was granted with Junior Research Fellow scholarship of University Grants Commission of India for a period of 5 years (2004-2009).
She has Masters and Bachelor's both in Chemistry from the University of Kerala, India.
Before joining to the UAE University as an instructor in January 2019, she has been working as a Research associate in the Khalifa University |The Petroleum Institute University and Research Center (PI), Abu Dhabi from 2009 to 2019. As being a Research associate in The Petroleum Institute, she has experienced in working many funded research projects as well as supervising masters and undergraduate students. She also has experienced in teaching Chemistry lecturer courses as well as Lab courses.
