BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Seyd Darwish is actually an instructor in the Department of Physics in UAEU since 2019. He joined UAEU as Visiting Professor in 2015.
Dr. Seyd Darwish has PhD in Physics from "University Paris XI", France, in 1991. He has MSc, Optics and Photonics from "University Paris XI", France, in 1988, Bachelor of Science, Pure Mathematics, from "University of Damascus", Syria, in 1987, and Bachelor of Engineering from "Ecole Central des Arts et Manufactures", France, in 1986.
Prior to joining UAEU, he worked in many universities and higher educational institutes like "Institute of Theoretical and Applied Optics" in France, and "Higher Institute for Applied Sciences and Technology" in Syria. He taught Physics in many other universities and had many administrative tasks such as "Director of Scientific Cooperation, Information and Publication".
He worked in many projects in the domain of optics, optoelectronics and material characterization. His main interest focused on the study and development of phase holography and its integration in opto-electronic system for information treatment, and the development of digital holography for the generation of aspherical optical wave front.
He participated in the development of physics syllabi for some universities, and conducted studies on teaching methods and practices to enhance students learning.
