Purpose of this Consultation
- UAEU Portal Focus Group (public engagement (co-creation/co-production).
- Students were asked to scan a barcode with all of their comments and address them by the impact priority
- Students were grouped and asked to re-design the current UI for the UAEU mobile app. They came up with a list of suggestions.
Outcome
- 1. Dashboard Improvements
- Participants recommended displaying academic risk indicators with suggested actions for improvement.
- 2. Enhanced Information Display
- The Announcements section should be renamed to "Important for You" and include a slider for multiple announcements.
- 3. Improved Access to Academic Tools
- Quick Actions should prioritize the most frequently used services, including Blackboard, class schedules, and attendance.
- 4. New Features and Functionality
- Students requested additional features such as Tasks and Deadlines, a UAEU Assistant chatbot, global search functionality, and the display of the current semester on the home page.
