Research to Commercialization

Primary Objectives:

• Leverage research investments by advancing commercialization of research outcomes
• Transform the university innovation culture by preparing researchers to extend their focus beyond the research laboratory
• Assist researchers in translating laboratory discoveries into commercializable products and technologies that will benefit Abu Dhabi, the UAE economy, and the global community.
• Increase the economic impact of university funded research

Program Structure and Team Commitment:

• Action-oriented teaching and one-on-one coaching sessions (3.5h per week for first 8 weeks, afterwards 1h per week)
• Additional time for industry engagement
• “Demo/Deal Day” - Actual Pitch Sessions to UAEU SIP Management and industry partners

Best teams will receive further support from UAEU SIP and potentially external partners.
