Dr. Abdul Jaleel holds a Ph.D. specializing in Plant Physiology and currently teaches
Integrative Agriculture at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Besides his teaching
responsibilities, Dr. Jaleel is an active researcher and leads the Plant Physiology
Research Group in the Department of Integrative Agriculture at the College of Agriculture
and Veterinary Medicine, UAEU. He has received numerous research grants and has guided
many graduate and undergraduate thesis projects. Currently, he is mentoring Master's
and Ph.D. students in their research endeavors. His major research areas include Native
Medicinal Plants and Climate Smart Agriculture technologies, with a special emphasis
on Aquaponics, Vertical Farming, and Hydroponics.
Dr. Jaleel has received multiple awards for his outstanding performance in both studies and research. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Emirates Journal of Food and Agriculture, published by CAVM-UAEU, and sits on the editorial boards of several international journals. Additionally, he is a regular reviewer for numerous scientific journals. Dr. Jaleel has authored many international scientific articles in reputed journals, books, conference proceedings, and chapters.
Dr. Jaleel's dedication to research and education significantly contributes to advancements in agricultural science and technology, particularly in the areas of sustainable and innovative farming practices.
