Usually, you will receive email notification for any overdue books or fees, but please check with the Lending Desk staff to confirm your fees at circ_lib@uaeu.ac.ae or by telephone at 03 713 4684 - 4677- 4671.
Please contact the Lending Desk staff by email at circ_lib@uaeu.ac.ae or by telephone at 03 713 4684 - 4677 - 4671 to confirm the exact amount that you owe. Then, you can pay by using one of the following methods.
- If you have a Visa or MasterCard, you can pay directly at the lending Desk.
- Alternatively, you may deposit the amount into the Library Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank account (# 11447524920001), and obtain a receipt. You can then either:
- send the original bank deposit receipt via email circ_lib@uaeu.ac.ae,
- Or bring it in person to the library service desk.

Yes, the Libraries offer support for free for faculty, students and staff with: literature reviews (including systematic reviews); accessing documents and papers from other institutions; selection of journals for publication; manuscript editing; and support for publishing with commercial publishers or publishing via the UAEU institutional repository as open access material. Who can request and borrow via LIWA Tipasa?
Registered students, staff and faculty of UAEU.
How many items can be requested?
A patron can borrow maximum of 10 items for faculty member, students and staff per visit.
For how long can an item be borrowed?
LIWA Tipasa's item can be borrowed for one month for all faculty member, students and staff. The item can be renewed for two times.
What happens if the book is returned late?
Overdue notices will be sent to the patron as a reminder to return the book.
What happens if an item is lost?
Patrons will be required to pay for replacement of lost or damaged items at their local library. A default fee is DHS100 will be added to the price of the lost or damaged item.
What can be borrowed?
All items can be borrowed except for non-circulating items e.g., multimedia materials and Reference books (e.g., Encyclopedia, dictionaries) and thesis.
