Online Application for Undergraduate Admissions International Students.

Service Description

International Students are admitted to UAEU in the first and second semesters of the academic year on the basis of an assessment of their academic qualifications and the instructional capacities of academic programs. Admissions to the United Arab Emirates University are based on an admissions policy issued annually.

Students wishing to enroll in a program can apply online through our online application system.

This online service allows you to:

• Complete the online application at your own pace.
• Save your application to complete later (please note your Login ID and PIN code).
• Upload documents in support of your application (each document at one time).
• Submit your online application.
• Upload the security form.

Service Procedures

The following is a step-by-step guide intended to assist undergraduate applicants through the online admissions process for undergraduate programs offered at UAEU:

If you need additional assistance, you can visit the Admissions Department where a member of staff will assist you to complete the online application.

Target Audience 

High school students whose degree does not exceed 3 years from the date of graduation (international).

Admissions Criteria

1. International Students are eligible to be admitted to the United Arab Emirates University and on a provisional basis to the following colleges during the current academic year. Applicants must hold a certificate from the last three years only in accordance with the criteria and conditions set forth by UAEU.
2. An international student enrolled in an accredited higher education institution may apply for transfer to the University in accordance with the policies and procedures approved by the University.
3. A high school certificate (Grade 12), or its equivalent, with a grade of not less than 80%.
4. Applicants must have a valid English grade EmSAT (1250) or TOEFL ITP (525)/ IBT (70) or have scored IELTS (5.5) or above.
5. Extract the equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Education (Abu Dhabi) for private schools that do not follow the government curriculum and certificate from outside UAE.
6. IELTS certificate issued outside the UAE must be approved by the British Council.

Admission Requirements per College

**Admission to the College of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Veterinary Medicine program in the College of Food and Agriculture are limited to National Students.

**In case a student could not achieve the college s admission terms and conditions within one semester from being provisionally assigned to the college, the University shall assign the student to a college with available capacity that is appropriate to the student s academic qualifications.

All Undergraduate applicants to UAEU are required to submit an application fee online as part of the application process, otherwise applications will not be considered as complete, and consequently an admissions decision will not be made.

Documents Required:

All applicants must complete the application form. The application must be accompanied by the following documents:

1. Original high school certificate and a true copy of Grade 12 certificate.
2. An equivalent certificate is required for private schools that do not follow the UAE government curriculum.
3. A copy of a valid passport and a copy of a valid residency visa .
4. A certified copy of a birth certificate or other certificate verifying the student s age.
5. Copy of UAE identity card from both sides (if available).
6. Personal picture passport size.
7. Valid English-language certificate.
8. Upload the security form.
9. Financial Undertaking Form
10. Upload the Medical Examination Form

Important Dates

Applicants must submit their applications during the application period announced on the university s website as follows:

First Academic Semester: May, June and July.

Second Academic Semester: September, October and November.

Problem Resolution Time

From one hour to a maximum of three days depending on the severity of the issue.
