Language proficiency requirements: English language proficiency as demonstrated by a TOEFL score of  525  PBT, 70  iBT; or an IELTS score of  5.5. GPA admission requirement: Minimum of 3.0 on a 4-point scale or through approval of the concerned college at UAEU.

Applications to study at UAEU should be submitted through the appropriate office of the partner institution. The application must include the following items:

• Application form

• Essay outlining the candidate's interest in studying at UAEU

• One copy of the student's official transcript

• Proof of English language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS,…)

• One passport copy (front page with picture and biographical information)

• Four passport-size photographs 

• One copy of the applicant s high school certificate

• Curriculum Vitae of the applicant

• Introductory statement form from United Arab Emirates University

• Fall Semester: March 31
• Spring Semester: October 30

• Residence halls for exchange students are subject to availability. Meal plans can be purchased directly at each residence hall. The cost of a shared room in a residence hall: 5,600 AED per student per semester.
• The approximate cost of food in student residence halls is 2,000 AED per month for three meals per day. However, students are charged per meal rather than monthly.
