Through a combination of foundational and applied geoscience courses, students gain an integrated understanding of how geoscience principles support professionals in their respective fields.
Admission Requirements
- Minimum grade requirement: GPA of 2.5
- Minimum credit hours completion in student's major: 30 CHs
- Pre-requisite: GEOL 100 Physical Geology and the required pre-requisites of the program courses
- Targeted students: All students in non-geosciences major program.
Program Objectives
- To provide students with knowledge in geosciences for solving and managing problems partly linked to their major specialization.
- To extend students’ frontiers of professional capability and skills to expand their technical and leadership roles.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Recognize and apply the theories and principles of geosciences, benefiting their major specialization.
