BIOGRAPHY
Welcome, and thank you for visiting my profile.
My name is Theresa Beadle (Terri), and I am a Doctoral Candidate in Educational Policy and Leadership at the University of Illinois, specializing in New Learning. My academic focus centers on innovative approaches to teaching and learning, with particular attention to online and hybrid education, as well as the integration of artificial intelligence in instructional settings.
I hold a Master’s degree in Linguistics and English Language from Cornerstone University and a Bachelor of Arts in Photography and Graphic Design from the University of New Mexico. My professional teaching experience spans the United States, Türkiye, and South Korea (대한민국), experiences that have profoundly shaped my commitment to global education and culturally responsive pedagogy.
My current research explores teacher preparation and the cultivation of 21st-century skills, with an emphasis on equipping educators and learners to navigate and succeed in dynamic, technology-rich environments.
I look forward to engaging with fellow scholars, educators, and practitioners to exchange ideas and advance the field of education.
