Workshop Description
The aim of this workshop is to provide practical and productive strategies to help with reading research articles. It will examine how an awareness of the generic structure of research articles can be used to help you focus more effectively when reading a research article and assist in decisions over what to read and how much to read. It will also examine how a clear understanding of your reading purpose, alongside the use of different reading strategies, will help you to read research articles more efficiently and ultimately save you time. The session will incorporate discussion-based and practical activities.
